Sponsored by Workhorse, Lexington Poetry Month is an easy to use
platform for poets to publish and share their work in an attractive
way. The community is supportive and diverse, commenting and
encouraging one another throughout June. Money we raise goes
to maintaining the cost of the website and publishing the yearly
anthology. Our goals are to provide every poet (~150) a copy of
the anthology, lower printing costs, and expand opportunities
offered during Lexington Poetry Month, such as featured readings
and poetry workshops.
This is great. I like how it suggests kissing and wrestling clay. I like how the first four lines pare down until, perhaps, at the fifth it’s seized in a shape. It also feels like a really salient snippet among a sprawling soliloquy, like seeing for a moment, in a crystal clarity, some strange cryptid cut in a crackling bonfire’s flames. Really good.
Okay, I’m a potter, but I’m a wheel person. I totally suck at sculpture, but I deeply appreciate folks who CAN do sculpture. I guess there is a thread of sculpture in me (thank you, Prof. Scroggins!)
So, this speaks to that bit of sculptor in me! But I want the sculpture to look exacly like you, LoL I see no need to change anything at all. (((HUG)))

Wow what a review! Thank you so much, I’m really happy you enjoyed it so much

You are far too kind, thank you ☺️
Woah…”rearrange my face with yours/make me unrecognisable”
Note to add that “shift” or “to shift someone” in Irish slang is to make out with someone 😂 I do love a title with multiple possible readings
Well, that “shift” adds whole new layers to the poem! Nicely done!
Thank you!
