Bio for 2022

Born & raised in Appalachia, Lonormi Manuel now calls central Kentucky home. Her published short fiction and creative nonfiction can be read on her website, Having spent years denying she could ever be a poet, she threw caution to the winds with the onset of the Russian invasion if Ukraine. Her work often addresses social issues and injustice. She has seven grandchildren and an equal number of dogs and cats.
