Bio for 2023
Ellen Austin-Li's work has appeared in many journals. Finishing Line Press published her two chapbooks—Firefly (2019) and Lockdown: Scenes From Early in the Pandemic (2021). Ellen earned an MFA in Poetry at the Solstice Low-Residency Program. She co-founded the monthly reading series, "Poetry Night at Sitwell's," in Cincinnati, where she lives with her husband in a newly empty nest. Reason for signing up:
I love a good challenge! I participated in LexPoMo last year. While I didn't post a poem every day, I wrote one every day. This practice is grueling (for me) but can pull out some good poems. Notice I said "can."
