Sponsored by Workhorse, Lexington Poetry Month is an easy to use platform for poets to publish and share their work in an attractive way. The community is supportive and diverse, commenting and encouraging one another throughout June. Money we raise goes to maintaining the cost of the website and publishing the yearly anthology. Our goals are to provide every poet (~150) a copy of the anthology, lower printing costs, and expand opportunities offered during Lexington Poetry Month, such as featured readings and poetry workshops.

Bio for 2026

Jerielle is a spiritual person because she has been through hell. Walking the way of the heart has been their only salvation and will be the only meaning in their existence. It has always been this way. It is no wonder then that their name means "An arrow shot by God"

Reason for signing up:

I look forward to this all year. It has been life changing for me. I so enjoy the people I have met and continue to meet who are now great friends. I love seeing what those people write and meeting others. Really there is nothing but sheer joy involved.
