I love the simple imagery here.
♥️
Love the American sentence. Somehow this makes more to me than haiku
I love both forms and love best the freedom the American Sentence gives me!
This! Yup.!!!!
I like the red hair
Heehee…music to my ears, Coleman! ♥️
I’ve missed these since last year. You do so much with so little, it’s amazing.
Thanks, Jeremy! I’ve missed writing them.
Yeah, he does! What a powerful image. You knocked it out of the park with this one, Pam!
Thanks, H.A.! With Cowboy on the train, possibilities arise!
Absolutely! I bet he’s more entertaining than….her’es a throwback: the ‘naked’ cowboy in Times Square. Ha! Remember that guy?!
Yep…and this past winter he braved one of the most severe blizzards in 10 years singing in Times Square. I think it is the same guy?
i like the shadow theme emerging
Thanks, Lav! I’m following its pull.
There are little things in this American Sentence that add intrigue and depth. Cowboys don’t typically stride through shadows. Twelve-strings are a little
eccentric and having a red-headed cowboy sets him apart.
Glad to see you again. I’m sorry I bailed on last year’s cento. I got entirely overwhelmed. ❤️❤️❤️
Grateful Cowboy is on the train for the reasons you mention. Perhaps he will pluck a song to guide me on my way 😉
Glad to see you again. No worries on Cento…it will be there when you or it are ready. ♥️ I just finished revising one that has been resting for 2 years or more.
Yeah! The shadow is back. Very nice, Pam
Thanks for the encouragement, Nancy!
Yummy
🙂
A red-haired stranger! Oh, the possibilities! I love that the hair is free and flowing. I surely picked the right train to hop aboard.
🙂
Play me song, Red!
And Pam, please keep pulling the strings.
I hope he does play us a song, Fanny!
I’ll keep plucking!
Iconic. One of the figures of the American myth.
Thanks, Jim. Hope to do him justice.
Brings freedom of the road, Kerouac, and the beats to mind. What a rich tradition and mythology to draw from riding the rails to open roads followed by later generations). Thank you, Pam, for sharing your gift with us once again
Yep and thank you!
Welcome aboard!
I live the mystery you create in “strides through the shadows,” carried by those slippery s-es
Thanks, Shaun!
I am sure I had a crush on this man once.
heehee
Great character picture. Love the twelve-string on his back.
🙂
Such a clear image you capture here! Love it
Thank you, N.D!
