Salted Earth
We have been told by the highest court
That we are beings of an inferior order
And must play their rigged game
Without due process
Having only the right to labor
And no right to our life or love

I am so impressed to see your woeful, critical, timely poem to bring the Supreme Court to it’s knees in shame for what it has done–using the “salt” in your title as the intentional souring agent I now understand it to be– I champion your Poet Voice! Thank you!
