Bio for 2023

Sara Joy Dean is a poet, writer, and artist. She holds a Masters in Literature from California State University Northridge, and her poetry was featured in the Consecrate/Desecrate Great Salt Lake Anthology published by the Great Salt Lake Collaborative in 2022 to bring awareness to the dying lake. In 2020, she and her mother left their entire California life behind to make a cross-country road trip to settle in the Bluegrass. She dreams of owning her own land, growing her own vegetables, and returning to California for a week or two to empty the stupidly expensive storage unit she has there.
