Aww they’re bonding!
😊
Charming and magical, Pam.
Cats are magic, yes?
I love the emphasis on the fact that the cat does not have its claws out, and is initiating a peaceful–or at least playful–interaction. Even as it is technically smacking the cowboy in the face.
heehee
Another amazing sentence, Pam! “Paw-taps” is a great description. I look forward to seeing what kinds of adventures this cowboy/cat duo get into together.
Me, too…😉
Magical, Pam!
☺️
Their friendship is forged. Title for the book? Cat and the Cowboy?
A song is in the works, titled Sorrowing a Song, but want to make a book and like Cat and the Cowboy or perhaps Railway Cat and the Cowboy.
Wonderful. Railway Cat and Cowboy feel destined to become fast friends. Another necessary step in that evolution.
Thanks, Bill for seeing the evolution..,
Just lovely.
☺️
Yeah but those claws are still in there…. 😉
heehee, yes they are!
I can still feel the rhythm of the train on rails in this one – well done!
☺️
That last word, “incantation,” with its four short syllables extends the Sentence’s magical effect. Beautifully crafted, Pam
Glad to hear incantation hit its mark!
A lot of hard work put into this sentence!
Thanks for seeing the effort, Greg! I sit on the train (in imagination) at different times of the day and ‘see’ through the eyes of Cowboy, Railway Cat, and Woman. I’m still fine-tuning up to post time!
Pam – I just love how you compose these sentences. Such a fine crafting! “cat incantation” – priceless
☺️ cat incantation was a last minute edit….glad it took!
Love the lighter moment you’ve captured!
☺️
