Bio:
Christopher McCurry teaches high school English and runs the Poetry Gauntlet. He believes everyone can write poems and everyone should.

Shaun Turner
Bio:
Shaun Turner is a poet/writer, originally from Laurel Co, KY and author of chapbooks "The Lawless River: Stories" (Red Bird Chapbooks) and "Trying Not to Write Roadkill: Poems" (Ghost City Press). His fiction, nonfiction, and poetry can be found in the Chattahoochee Review, Bayou Magazine, Barely South, and Appalachian Review, among others.

Amy Le Ann Richardson
Bio:
Amy is a writer, visual artist, and farmer in Carter County. She has her MFA from Spalding University.

Pete Wallace
Bio:
Pete has been a poet all of his life and started out at the age of 6. Pete is currently in the works of releasing a 2 part poetry album featuring music in the background. He writes personal poems that tell stories and tales of fear, laughter, uncertain times, old friends, love, obsession, and so much more.

Dennis Preston
Bio:
Dennis J. Preston lives in Owensboro, Kentucky. He taught elementary school language arts for twenty-five years, but now enjoys being semi-retired. He is a minister, and enjoys reading, writing, traveling, and spending time with his family. He has published seven books of poetry including Unhurried Inervals.

Harold Sherman is a Donovan Scholar, majoring in English
with a concentration in Creative Writing. He received his MM
in Composition from the UK School of Music in 1999. Born
and raised in Lexington, KY, he played on the road and lived in
New York City before returning to Lexington in 1983.

Born and raised in Lexington, Hannah is an advocate who works with survivors of domestic violence. In seeking a way to honor resiliency she witnesses, in survivors, colleagues, and herself, she has turned to poetry.

Chayton is a free spirit working hard to create a better life for himself and those around him. a mission such as that can be stressful and confusing at times, so he turns to poetry to help clear his mind and gather his thoughts
